About Me.

From a young age, I have always had an interest in makeup.  Not for the fun colors, trends or the latest tips & tricks, but for the way it could transform the way I look and feel about myself.

Growing up, I was your typical acne-ridden teenager who tried everything to improve my complexion with little to no improvement for the majority of my youth.  It wasn't until I discovered the transformation of makeup that I ever felt truly confident in my own skin. That personal desire to make myself (and my clients) look and feel better in their own skin is at the core of why I love the beauty industry.

Although it took me years to figure out, I learned that I possess a special skill in the makeup industry that has nothing to do with artistry or talent.  The ability to listen and truly hear what my client desires is an art in and of itself. If I had a dollar for every time someone said I want to look "natural", I would probably have a lot more lipstick in my handbag!

During my time working as a makeup artist in the heart of Times Square, I spent years beautifying faces from all over the world.  Although at times there were language and cultural barriers, the clients always wanted one thing: natural looking makeup and the ability to recreate it at home. Teaching people from all different backgrounds on how to achieve their natural look by using a few simple products is a priceless experience that will always live with me.

My experience on branded campaign shoots and major events like New York Fashion Week and New York Bridal Fashion Week have taught me how to have a keen eye for detail. The smallest details can make the greatest impact.

I take a lot of pride in delivering flawless makeup applications that will last from morning into the night. Not only do I love to deliver perfected, polished and glamorous makeup for any special occasion, I also love teaching people how to create simple and approachable everyday looks to wear to work, happy hour and wherever the night takes you.

Being able to simplify what can be an intimidating task, is truly rewarding. It brings me so much joy to see when an artist or client has that light bulb moment -- whether it be applying the perfect winged eyeliner or choosing the perfect foundation for your skin.

Whether you are an emerging makeup artist, bride-to-be, videographer/photographer or just want to learn how to apply your makeup a little better, I am confident in my ability to share with you all that I have learned and help make your vision a reality.
